Deep learning algorithms are the driving force behind Roumai's target product, the Intelligent Stent System. These algorithms extract useful information from noise and perform complex image processing to detect arterial stenosis. Due to the need for advanced processing, these tasks are executed on external units, such as smartphones.
Ultimately, these algorithms will fine-tune the gene therapy applied through the miniaturized electroporator integrated into the MEMS-equipped stent, closing the loop of stenosis monitoring and therapy. This ensures precise and effective treatment for patients.
Currently in the final phases of development, this deep learning platform is rapidly adaptable for various Human Machine Interfacing tasks, such as reading electrical signals from muscles (Electromyograms–EM). This versatility makes it valuable for a wide range of applications.
